Here is a pod of dolphins as seen from the world famous eco-cruise, but you may also find dolphins swimming within sight of any of our accommodation.
Wildlife at Saltwater River includes Dolphins, Skate, Stingray, Flounder, Flathead - great fishing for you or the Sea Eagles, Hawks, Peregrine Falcons, Pied Oystercatcher, Black Swans, Egrets and Wedgetail Eagles. Collect your own Mussels or shuck Oysters off Deer Point. Disturb skate and flounder while walking through the shallows or glide over the top with our Tandem Kayak provided free of charge.
Our 10-acre property is part of a major landcare program to reestablish native fauna and flora. It is recognised as important habitat for a number of threatened and endangered species.
